Activities in the vicinity of Koh Lanta Island:
Rock Climbing on PP Island and on Railay Beach

Koh Lanta is the largest Island located within the Krabi Province however for those with adventure in their heart there are a few activites which are found off the Island & rock climbing/abseiling is one of them.

Located in one of Krabi's more tourist orientated destinations, those who want to experience climbing those magical limestone carst cliffs or just abseiling down their sheer vertical faces then Railey  Beach is the place to head to.

Railey Beach is located approximately 20 km's outside of Krabi Town which is again an hours drive (70 km's) north of Koh Lanta. Getting hooked up is easy and fun and there are many climbing operators to choose from. Just contact your nearest tour counter and they will arrange for transport to get you out there for a day's instruction and fun on the cliff face.
